The CRC International Churches Missions Bible College has been designed to equip people of all ages, gender and background for effective service. We believe every person has the privilege and responsibility to equip themselves for maturity. The Bible declares that we are to “Study to show ourselves approved—a workman that should not be ashamed, one rightly dedicated to the truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). With so many pressures in the world today it is essential that we understand our basis for faith and practice — “the Bible”. Our emphasis is that all teachings should be positive and faith filled, infused by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. Learning and development must be active (James 1:22-25). Consequently, each course is designed to equip in specific areas for ministry as well as helping in the personal growth of the individual at their stage of spiritual maturity, regardless of academic ability or economic background. Completion of the IMBC certificate level is the minimum requirement to be a CRC local minister. We provide the curriculum, training, and support, so you can focus on discipling your people and building strong leaders locally. When your church hosts a Bible school, students can study in two ways: Online Study Students access the curriculum through our student portal and progress at their own pace, supported by your facilitators. Face-to-Face Classes I f your church chooses to run group sessions, students can gather weekly to learn together in a classroom-style setting with guidance from your nominated facilitator. For students pursuing accredited study, training and assessment are delivered in partnership with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Why Host a Bible School? When you run a Bible school in your church, you are creating a pathway for believers to grow into leaders. With CRC College, the heavy lifting is already done. The courses are structured and sequenced, beginning with the Certificate III (Foundation Pathway) and progressing into the Certificate IV (Leadership Pathway). Resources, assessments, and online systems are provided with support for facilitators and reporting for your church. If students wish to pursue a nationally recognised qualification, CRC College will connect and support them through a partnering Registered Training Organisation (RTO). This course will equip ascension gifted individuals and church leaders in a range of Christian ministry activities relevant to the local Church, Christian organisation and the workplace. Course Requirements: Successful Completion of CRC International Missions Bible College Safeguarding Individuals and Certificate courses Duration: 12 Months plus Safeguarding Individuals and Certificate level completion Supervised: 650 hours Unsupervised: 800 hours Volume of Learning: 1450 hours Course Structure: To achieve the Diploma of Christian Ministry and Theology qualification, the learner must complete 10 competency units, made up of ten (10) subjects/units. Successful completion of this course will require learners to engage in unsupervised activities including: A100% pass mark, a student will have multiple opportunities to achieve a 100% pass mark A minimum of 80% face to face class/course attendance in every subject/unit. Self paced study Research and reading theological sources and other material related to Christian ministry and theology Personal study to research, interpret and create an understanding of theological themes or issues Observing and interacting with experienced Christian ministry workers Periods of devotion and prayer Times of public and / or private worship Personal retreat and reflection Consulting with their organisation and community leaders Research, analysis and critique of internet and other resources related to the field of Christian Ministry and Theology Preparation of presentations The time required to undertake these activities will vary between students based on their experience.
