Pre-requisites:

A student must successfully complete Safeguarding Individual course before they can enrol in the Certificate course.

A stable Christian walk;

Be active in service within a Christian church;

A recommendation from a CRC pastor

Pay enrolment and course fees as due

An adequate understanding of the English/Swahili/French language sufficient to read your preferred version of the Bible and an ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of the Word of God.

A student must successfully complete (100% correct) Safeguarding Individual course before they can enrol in the Certificate course.

Course Structure:
To achieve the Certificate in Christian Ministry and Theology qualification, the learner must complete nine units made up of nine (9) course subjects (see above).
Successful completion of this course will require learners to engage in unsupervised activities including:

self-paced study

research and reading theological sources and other material related to

Christian ministry and theology
-
observing and interacting with experienced Christian ministry workers
-
periods of devotion and prayer
-
times of public and / or private worship
-
personal retreat and reflection
-
consulting with their organisation and community leaders

research and familiarisation with internet and other resources related

to the field of Christian Ministry and Theology

100% pass mark, a student will have multiple opportunities to achieve a 100% pass mark
The time required to undertake these activities will vary between students based on their experience. On average, the unsupervised activities listed above will equate to 400 – 800 hours.
